The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. – Eleanor Roosevelt
It was a chilly day when we landed in Athens at four o’clock in the afternoon. It took me more than 24 hour travel to get to Europe. The whole trip was quite a journey; I had two stop over at Kuwait and Istanbul but it was all worth it.
I went straight to the immigration to get my visa stamped, and I couldn’t be more thankful to God; my heart is filled with so much joy and excitement because I have finally arrived in Europe. It was only a dream but now, I am here, standing in my ultimate dream destination.
I only had a less than a day to see the beautiful city of Athens and admittedly it isn’t enough to really get to know the city but I need to make the most out of it. So if you do only have a day in Athens, it is best to have an itinerary before heading out so you can see as much as possible in a short time.
